Hi Mustafa, Have you signed up in google analytics? If you have not done yet, first do it here http://www.google.com/analytics Then When you finish last step, it will give you one code. Just copy and paste the code in header.php. In header.php, you have to paste the code between <head and <title lines…

If you use thesis theme, you can just paste the code in "Header Scripts" in "Thesis Options".

I completely agree – Google Analytics is addictive! I’ve only been using it for about a month and it’s really been useful, but am still learning how to get the most out of it. I looked at the tutorial you have posted, it’s really helpful, thanks.
I think it’s great to analyse trends and to see what parts of the website are drawing more attention than others, then shows me where I need to improve the website. When I first started this job just over a month ago, I read an article written by someone else at the company I work for on Google Analytics and helped me alot too – http://www.lucidica.com/blog/online-marketing/top-5-tips-for-a-small-business-using-google-analytics/
