I aso tried changing the background color of the sidebar and nothing happened. I was able to do these things on another site that I made. I don't know what I'm doing wrong or what it is about the site that is stopping it. Some of the site was set up by someone else, and he put some css into the custom css, is it possible that what he put is blocking the new stuff?
