Subscribe link for RSS feed at the top right corner in nav.
Multimedia box(default image in thesis) at the side bar.
Default widget at the side bar.

How to remove the Subscribe to RSS feed in nav menu of thesis theme?
1. Go to Thesis option and select Feed link in Nav menu by clicking the + symbol.
2. Then remove the check box at “show feed link in Nav menu”.
Instead of this subscribe link, you may like to add your RSS icon in sidebar of thesis theme also.

How to remove the multimedia box at the side bar?
In default you will see a big image in sidebar, this is mm(multimedia box). If you don’t want this mm box then follow this step.
Go to Design option then under the multimedia box click default settings.
In drop down menu select the Do not show box and click save.
Some designers like additional multimedia box in thesis theme. Thesis gives the more option to use mm box in your theme.

How to remove the default widget in sidebar?
If you installed thesis theme you will see a default widget in sidebar. You can remove this easily and you can add your own widget in sidebar.
Go to Thesis option and select sidebars which are in bottom corner of the second column.
Click the plus symbol and remove the check box and click save.
After removing the default widget you can add your own widgets like Google translator, related post etc..

How to remove the author name inside the post?
Inside the post if you don’t want the author name to be shown, you can remove it easily instead thay you can place it by Author’s profile box at the end of the post.
Go to Design options and select Teaser display option.
Then, remove the check box of author name and clicks save.

can any body know how to remove outer page padding to zero ..the design options and in the framework options is not working in my case when it is set to zero it is saying unusual behavior……any help would be appreciated i am screwd that why it is not working ….

First check this is Outer padding of a page or inner padding of container..
If it is inner padding of container use padding as zero for container..
give your site name otherwise i can’t find it inner padding of container or our padding of page..

do you mean content area as post box or content box?
If post box(post area) means
To remove inner padding of content (post box) add the below line in custom.css file
.custom .post_box {padding:0em;}
If content box means (post area and sidebar)
remove the padding in #container or #page to zero
I’ve tried
.custom #content {padding:0em;}
and it didn’t work

Thanks Suresh! That worked. I’ve removed the borders from top, left, and right using:
.custom .post_box {padding:0em; margin-left:0em; margin-right:0em;}
For some reason I’m still getting a border on the bottom of the post box. I tried border-bottom:0; and padding-bottom:0em; but those didn’t work. Any ideas?

Border mean are you having line at the bottom? if so..
use border-width:0px; or border-bottom-width:0px;
it will work fine…

Awesome! Thanks. In the new version though you need to activate the Thesis navigation first, instead of the wordpress navigation (which is default). Do you have an idea how to take away the home and subscribe link when you have the wordpress navigation activated instead of the thesis one?
a quick way to remove the subscribe from the nav when using the wordpress navigation is to select the thesis menu first, uncheck the feed, then switch back to worpdresss menu. It will remove it form wordpress nav.
